As part of the wider curriculum at Citizens, learners will also study the Arabic language, aligning the culture and values of the UAE with the philosophy of the school to better prepare the global citizens of the future.
Outside the core curriculum, children can take advantage of state-of-the-art facilities designed to encourage learners to reach their full potential. Dedicated spaces to health and wellbeing, sports, STEM labs, various learning zones and even a production studio, form a unique environment prime for developing burgeoning talents.

Beyond The Core – Building Citizens for the Future
Beyond the core curriculum, Citizens has developed the Future Framework which takes a more holistic approach to individual learning. Our overall philosophy is aimed at developing future-ready skills and mindsets to ensure relevance and enhance the quality of our childrens’ lives.
Our Future Framework has been developed with an emphasis on entrepreneurial skills, as well as the importance of sustainability. As we educate the citizens of the future it’s vital that we arm them with the mindset and skills needed to tackle the unknown challenges of tomorrow. With a focus on environmental awareness, conservation, community service, and social responsibility, we want to ensure our learners develop the skills they need to solve real-life challenges.

But that’s just the beginning…
At Citizens School we use a variety of learning methods to ensure children are engaged and activated throughout every step of the learning process.
Project Based Learning
Project Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional-based approach that gives learners the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills through engaging projects that involve challenges and problems they may face in the real world.
By incorporating PBL into the curriculum, learners gain a deeper understanding of concepts and develop important skills such as critical thinking and problem solving.
Experiential Learning
We encourage young citizens to learn by doing. Experiential Learning is just that and gives learners the space to experience, reflect, think, and act. This method will set the foundation for how learners solve problems, make decisions, and solve challenges in the future. At Citizens the learning process is enhanced through discussion, collaboration, and participation in order to enhance the learning experience in a concrete way.
