What curriculum does Citizens School follow?
We follow the British Curriculum from Nursery through to Year 10, enriched by our unique Citizens Future Framework.
What is the Citizens Future Framework?
It is our unique flagship curriculum pillar – a structured, school-wide programme that gives learners the hands-on experience of building, creating, and innovating. Through Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Venture Building, Financial Literacy, and AI & Emerging Technologies, learners move from identifying real problems to designing and pitching real solutions.
What is Venture Building and when does it start?
Venture Building is where learners take everything they learn/know and put it into practice – designing, prototyping, and pitching real ideas to real audiences. It begins in Foundation Stage because we believe the habits of a builder are best formed early and developed throughout a child’s entire school journey.
What makes Citizens School different from other British curriculum schools in Dubai?
At Citizens School, we don’t just prepare learners for exams. We prepare them for the real world – for careers that don’t yet exist, and for a future that will belong to those who can think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and build something from nothing.
Academic excellence is at the heart of everything we do. But so is knowing every child by name and by strength and so is developing the emotional intelligence, resilience, and curiosity that no exam can measure but every future employer, community, and opportunity will demand.
