Makers’ Journey is a series that follows our learners as they turn ideas into real projects.
During Entrepreneurship Week, our FS1 learners noticed something missing on their playground. So what did they do? They shared ideas, worked together, and designed a solution – a big, circular swing that fits five children at a time!
Our FS1 learners proved that you’re never too young to come up with great ideas. 🤩

As part of a wider effort to support Arabic learning among future generations, the UAE has introduced a policy requiring kindergartens in private schools to teach Arabic to all children, including non-native speakers.

During Entrepreneurship Week, our learners had five days to take their ideas from early thinking to a final pitch. They identified real problems, worked in teams, spoke to potential customers, built simple prototypes, and presented their ventures to a panel of judges.
Entrepreneurship isn’t just about creating a business. It’s a mindset — staying curious, thinking creatively, working with others, adapting, and solving problems.
And this mindset was reflected in the work our learners produced. They surprised us with their ideas, their process, and the way they presented their work — practical skills they’re building and honing every day.
خلال أسبوع ريادة الأعمال، أتيحت لطلابنا خمسة أيام لنقل أفكارهم من مرحلة التفكير الأولي إلى العرض النهائي. فقد حدّدوا مشكلات حقيقية، وعملوا ضمن فرق، وتواصلوا مع عملاء افتراضيين، وصمّموا نماذج أولية بسيطة، ثم قدّموا مشاريعهم أمام لجنة من المحكّمين.
ريادة الأعمال ليست مجرد إنشاء مشروع تجاري، بل هي عقلية — تقوم على الفضول، والتفكير الإبداعي، والعمل مع الآخرين، والمرونة، وحل المشكلات.
وقد انعكست هذه العقلية بوضوح في أعمال طلابنا. فقد فاجأونا بأفكارهم، وطريقة عملهم، وأساليب عرضهم — مهارات عملية يطوّرونها ويصقلونها كل يوم.
